Organic traffic: In Web search engines, organic search results are the query results which are calculated strictly algorithmically, and not affected by advertiser payments.
non-organic traffic: means the traffic that comes to your that use paid ads.
The term organic and non-organic is stick to the search engine. Because it is really crucial for your search engine campaign.
We have also “referral” traffic which is traffic comes from any website that refers to you. There is social media traffic, which is a subset of referral traffic but it usually comes from social media.
Here you can see a screenshot from Google Analytics. If you have a link from Quora, and when someone visits your website by clicking that link, then you have referral traffic.
